Submit a note

You can enter notes to document interesting geyser behavior.

To contribute data, a GeyserTimes account is required. If you don't have a GeyserTimes account, you can sign up to GeyserTimes for free.

Data to submit a note​

To enter a note for your observation, you need the following information:

  • the name of the geyser,
  • the date and time or the start and end date and time for time ranges,
  • the observer(s), assumed to be you, the entrant, if left empty, and,
  • the comment.

Contributed data will be licensed under the Open Database License 1.0 and the Database Contents License 1.0.

Submit a note​

  • Visit GeyserTimes with your browser.
  • Log in to your account.
  • In the top toolbar, click Enter.
  • In the tabs, click Add Note.
  • Enter the data into the form.
  • Click Submit.
